Seafood Mac and Cheese

* Ingredients :

° 1 pound of pasta

° 8 oz. Cooked shrimp, cut into pieces

° 8 oz. Crab meat

° 6 tablespoons. Unsalted butter, divided

° ½ C. Panko breadcrumbschopped medium onion

° 2 tsp. minced garlic

° 2 ½ C. Milk

° ½ c. heavy whipping cream

° ⅓ Jim flour1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning

° pinch of nutmeg

° Salt and pepper to taste

° 2 c. grated Gruyere cheese

° 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

° 1 c. grated cheese

° ½ tsp. Red pepper


Heat the oven to 350 degrees.Cook pasta until done, rinse and drain well.Add 2 tablespoons of melted butter to the panko breadcrumbs in a small bowl, mix until combined, and set aside.

Place another 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat on the stove.Add the onions to the melted butter and cook until melted.

Add garlic to the pan and fry another 30 seconds.Put the flour in the pan and stir until the ingredients are combined, for a minute.Whisk the milk and heavy whipping cream into the mixture in the saucepan, and add the Old Bay seasoning, nutmeg, paprika, and salt and pepper to taste.

keep to cook mixture to it thickens.Whisk the cheese into the sauce mixture until completely melted.Stir in seafood with cheese mixture, and cook until completely heated through.Pour the cheese mixture over the pasta and stir.

Place the pasta in a 9×13 baking dish and spread the breadcrumb mixture over it.Baking for 30 min before serve .
