Fried green tomatoes

* Ingredients :


°1/2 cup (125 ml) fresh cream or sour cream

°15 ml (1 tsp) chili sauce

°5 ml (1 teaspoon) chopped parsley

°Tabasco sauce, as desired

°Salt and Pepper

°Fried tomato

°250 ml (1 cup) corn flour

°5 ml (1 teaspoon) of sugar

°5 ml (1 teaspoon) of salt

°5 ml (1 teaspoon) ground pepper

8 slices of bacon

°1/2 cup () canola oil or olive oil

°1/2 cup () buttermilk

° 8 large slices of green tomatoes,

1/4 inch (1/2 cm) thick

* Preparation :

sauceIn  bowl, blend all ingredients. Salt also Pepper. Cover it and put it in the fridge.Fried tomatoMix flour, sugar, salt & pepper in a bowl..Putting paper towels on baking tray.In  skillet, sauté bacon in oil on medium heat to crispy. Drain the bacon on a paper towel.

Keep the fat in the skillet.Put the milk in a deep dish. Dip tomatoes in also then dip them in breadcrumbs to coat them well.

Cook tomato slices half at a time in hot oil, 2 to 3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Put it on absorbent paper. Salt and Pepper.Serve directly as a starter or accompaniment to fish or poultry. Top sauce & slices of bacon.
